David W. Wagner

I am a Biomedical Researcher working at the VA in Palo Alto. My research interests include:

• Osteoporosis assessment, specifically applying engineering-based methods to better predicting fracture risk using a variety of imaging technologies (e.g., DXA, pQCT, microCT).
  
  
• Human motion simulation. Using digital human models for ergonomic assessments. Modeling acyclic stepping patterns. Modeling the timing and stepping strategies individuals prefer to use when performing manual material handling tasks.
  
  
• Musculoskeletal modeling and other fun topics in related to bone and imaging research.
